Private Swim Lessons
Many students find the flexibility of private lessons to be a good fit with their busy schedules.
Private Lessons: One-on-one instruction during four, 30-minute lessons.
Fee: $55/member and $65/non-member
Semi-Private Lessons: Lessons with two students to one instructor during four, 30-minute lessons.
Fee: $80/member and $92/non-member
*Preschool
Children 3 to 5 yr olds, with swim experience. Class is limited to 6 students
*Advance Preschool
Must have completed Preschool lessons.
Class limited to 6 students.
*Level One
Introduction to water skills. Learn front and back floats and kicks, and front crawl stroke. Learn safe practices around the water.
*Level Two
Fundamental Aquatic skills; float and recover without support, learn front and back crawl strokes. Self-help and basic rescue skills will also be covered.
*Level Three
Stroke Development. Build on Level 2 skills. Coordinate front and back crawl. Introduce elements of butterfly and treading water. Safety for head first entries.
*Level Four
Stroke Improvement. Introduction of the elementary backstroke, butterfly, breast stroke and elements of side stroke. Work on distance swimming. Basic turns will also be covered.
*Level Five
Stroke Refinement; Coordination of all the strokes will be covered and increase endurance. Flip turns on front and back will also be covered.
*Level Six
Swimming & Skills Proficiency. Refine strokes so students will, with ease and efficiency, power and smoothness over greater distance
